Graphic design is, in short, “the art or skill of combining text and images in advertisements, magazines and books.”
Graphic design is basically any visual medium that aims to express communication, either to send a message from an upcoming party via a flyer or to show the beautiful features of the latest iPhone in print ads.
Using images, graphics and text, designers create a story or message that will attract potential users. Not every graphic design aims to be beautiful, but every one should provoke reactions, whether they are positive or negative, attractive or repulsive for consumers.
Although most people consider this activity to be computer dependent, this may not be the case. The tools used by graphic designers are almost limitless and include brushes, pens, pens and paper, as well as digital media. As people rely more and more on computers, so does graphic design.
